How To Deal With Rude Commenters
Internet Trolls
Have you ever had mean comments?
For the most part, hub pages is full of wonderful supportive readers, and their comments are none the less. Every once in a while you will come across a rude person commenting on your hubs. Whether this person is attacking you or just trying to argue with you about your hubs, it is a disruption you don’t want to deal with. A lot of people don’t like to see anything but their opinion and that can be pretty hard to deal with during debates. Debates can turn into something much worse.
I haven’t been here too long and I have already dealt with rude commenters. It seems like they only come to your page just to criticize you work. So how do you deal with them? Should you fight back? Ultimately, it depends on the situation and what they are saying. It is clearly okay to debate with others but only to the point where no name calling or attacking is happening. There are a lot of haters on the Internet and some people will just come on your page to create chaos especially random readers through search engines. Sometimes it can be good to have a little debate, but it usually doesn’t stay that way. If you see comments from these people that are getting too aggressive, I wouldn’t approve the comment and ignore it for your own sake. This has happened to me, and you can find a line between appropriate and just rude commenters.
I am an argumentative person by nature, and sometimes it can be hard to not have the last word. Sometimes it is just better to ignore that person and not let them have say in your work because all they are doing is criticizing it. Don’t let rude people upset you, because there are a lot of them out there. Focus on your work, and if someone doesn’t like it then that’s their problem. Be proud of how you write and what you know!
