How to write two hubs a day, and how this can increase your income.

Updated on March 15, 2012

Even though Hubpages is a great place to make money by writing, sadly, not everyone has the same experiences with this website. One of the questions that I am constantly answering for many writers is: "How can I increase my earnings?" and "How can I start making money on my first month here?"

To answer both of these questions, we have to look at the most obvious reasons why so many people join this website everyday, and why so many write on here. Hubpages is a place where anyone can publish their work, and earn money through either Adsense, Ebay, Amazon and so on.. The thing that helps writers make so much money, is simple: They love to write.

In order to make ANY money on Hubpages, writers have to take their time seriously. There is no way around it. I've come across a few writers that have wondered why they aren't making a fair living off of this website, and I can honestly tell them right off the batt " well, if you don't write, then you can't make money". This is true. There is no "secret to success on Hubpages" having only 2 hubs published!

Making a living writing for Hubpages.

This is perhaps one of the most sought out questions in this website, because there are so many people that are making a living writing on here. I'm not quite there yet, but thankfully, I am reaching my goals. As I've said before, there is no secret to making money writing for Hubpages. Can it be done? YES! But it takes time. If you go to a "regular" job, you get paid by the hour. At the end of each week, two, or monthly you get paid by how many hours you put into your work. Believe it or not, working on Hubpages is about the same.

If you only write one hub, and you don't do your research, and just write, chances are that you will get traffic, just not a whole lot of it.. Here are other great ways to increase your Hubpages earnings, by writing at least 2 Hubs daily.

When I started to write online, the only thing I cared about was quantity. It was never about quality. Something that to this day, I'm learning makes a world of difference! Its possible to quit your day job, and give in fully to writing online for a living, but I can tell you right now, that It takes time. If you need money right now, then start writing part-time, until you get the hang of it!

To make money on Hubpages, you need to set up a schedule. Don't be afraid to take this job like a regular job. This will actually pay off in the long run. One thing that really works for me, is making a priority to write at least one Hub a day. How is this helping me? I tend to write based on the feedback from my readers. If they like my work, I write more, and I also ask what people would love to know about. This in turn has helped increase my traffic by at least 10 percent a week.

Writing more hubs, or updating them can more than help you increase your readership, and increase traffic to your work. This is mainly because the most successful writers are those that are constantly connecting to their audience, and making sure that they are an endless supply of information for those who need it!

On average, there are thousands of people doing online searches every day. So, the chances of your individual hubs being searched for, and read increase everyday. This means that in order to have your Hubs be Indexed by Google, and be searched for online, you have to keep your work Fresh.

Bringing in the Traffic that you Crave!

When I Google my work, the majority of the time I find the most search, and sought out hubs have been those that talk about traffic, and how to get it. There is no denying that every writer wants to be the one to bring in the most views to their hubs. Why? Because the more traffic that they have, the more money that they make! Bringing in Traffic to Hubpages is one of the most difficult part for many writers because it is all about marketing, and promoting of the Hubs.

This can be hard, but it doesn't have to be. Not if writers know HOW TO promote their Hubs, and WHERE To start promoting their work.

While the basics of marketing are simple enough, there are too many writers that still have problems understanding how to bring in hundreds if not thousands of views to their Hubs on a daily basis. One of the other questions that I answer almost on a daily basis is: "How do you increase your traffic?"

The answer to this question is quite simple: I work just as hard to bring traffic to my Hubs, as I do to write them. Once readers land on your Hubs, the chances of them going to your profile, and reading your work is actually greater.

You can promote your Hubs on Blogs, Writing forums, your own website, other website, and so on. Sometimes this alone can bring you an immense amount of traffic because your work will be advertised everywhere. You can also join Social bookmarking sites, and auto connect your Hubpages profile to Facebook right away. This way, whenever you publish something new, your friends of co-workers can automatically read your work. This works wonders, especially for new writers.

One other trick that few people do, is to submit their work to several search engines. Many writers do this on a daily basis, and it increases their traffic almost overnight. While it takes other writes twice as long, it is a great way to start.

Do your research, and find out which search engines are used the most. While you work on that, you can also search which search engines writers use the most. Whats the difference? Well, a person that writes poetry wont be using the same search engines that writers who focus on writing about Medicine will use.

Making a living off of Hubpages can be like a part-time job, if you want to take it as such, or it can be a full time job, if you want to take it seriously!
