Online Writing Podcast
I am completely addicted to podcasts. I work from home and am at a desk all day, so I pass the time by listening to podcasts. While a few that I enjoy are comedy, most of my podcast subscriptions are about topics that have peaked my interest. From history to science to working from home, I learn a lot while getting my job done.
I had always wanted to write online but had no experience in doing so. One time while searching for podcasts, I decided to search for "online writing" to see if there was anything out there. My first search result was "The Online Writing Insider", a podcast from HubPages.com.
I listened to a few episodes and was surprised at how much content they provided in a 10-15 minute weekly podcast. I also learned about HubPages.com (which I had never heard of!). Initially, my goal was to learn about writing online and get some tips and tricks for making it work as a side income. I got that and much more from The Online Writing Insider!
Helpful Writing Tips
The Online Writing Insider provides more than just tips for writing on HubPages.com. Their topics range from finding good topics, to destroying writers block, to staying safe online. One of my favorite podcast episodes was about making the most of HubPages. Everything from finding and appropriately attributing images to evergreen content is covered in this podcast.
Subscribe to the Podcast
After subscribing to the podcast and listening for a few months, I decided to join HubPages.com. Since that time, I've published some hubs and am really enjoying writing for this site. If I hadn't found the podcast, I'm not sure I would have found HubPages.com.
I strongly recommend this podcast to anyone writing online, and especially those writing for HubPages.com. It's about ten minutes per week, and can provide great dividends and inspiration!

Claudia, The podcast is actually how I found HP. I was searching for podcasts about writing to listen while I work. There are a lot of great topics (all short and to the point), so search the archives and you'll find what you need. If not, you can suggest topics on the HP Facebook page!
I´ll have to check the online writing insider out! I am interested in what it says about finding good topics (I just write about what I like and my hubs are good "potential" money-earners but I haven´t made a dime so I might as well listen to those tips you mention).
