I am grateful to Hub Pages (HP)

This is my 100^th hub here in HP and I would like to thank everybody during my stay here. They make my stay here worthwhile and productive.

HP was recommended to me by my former colleague in one of her email to me two months ago. We worked together in a university setting in which we co-authored research papers on population related issues and sociological notes, mostly Demography in nature. It deals mainly with statistics and market research. At first I don’t know if I am capable of writing because I am used to write in a more scientific way of writing, introduction, objective, review of literature, data, analysis and findings, conclusion kind of thing. In HP, you can write your opinion, incites, tips and you can share your personal life too. If you want to earn, I learned that you should a good grasp of what the people may want to know. I learned that good writers doesn’t necessarily earn money too.

When I signed up, I was contemplating whether I will join or not. I am used to writing more than thirty pages and I might not deliver the kind of articles worth reading. I don’t know anything about Search Engine Optimization (SEOs), selling online etc. and If I want to earn I should be serious about all of these things, this I learned while reading posts in the forum. Honestly, I am not expecting to earn anything here. I checked my earnings this morning and it is nearly 20 US dollars, wow.

I just want a community and to share what I know. HP became my niche, at one time I was addicted to it, but now, I am trying to balance my activities. Whereas before life is very simple, work, listen to the news, cook, meet with friends etc., but now I am here in front of the computer typing and pouring out all what I would like to share. I couldn’t stop reading peoples articles too. HP is very rich in information and I don’t have time to read everything.

Dohn121 who is a very good writer and all his love stories touched me and made me sit down and think about being in love again. All his writings are a good piece. Thanks for the inspiration.

Paraglider who wants our world a better place for all of us. His philosophy of moderation and his take about ethics needs recognition. His articles about scientific inquiry make me question anything and be able to distinguish what is Science. Thank you for your hub about Filipinos too.

James A Watkins, thank you for your articles, they are good content and read. I learned a lot about Roman Catholic history, culture, paintings, sports and awesome places. He can write about anything too. Most of all I like his article about women and why he loves them.

Pearldiver -- I like his articles about pets and samurai. He is a good writer indeed. And I am starting to read the rest of his articles, and he makes me smile too,

I would like to thank the Filipino community, they are good authors in their own right, emievil, GeneralHowitzer, maudine_05 (who is a Fil-Am like me) dyesebel10, beth811, Cris A, needful things, R.G.San Ramon, and Alta5656 and others who I might have failed to mention.

To maven101 who is my first fan and show me the way, he drops by at a time to check on me. He gave me a thumbs up sign when he read my first article.

To all the friends who love football, Tony (outspoken and good friend) jobister (for his predictions who will win in every week of NFL, Ron Montgomery, (a football fan and who makes me laugh with his posts in the forum) Paul Edmondson who at times post about NFL.

And to wavegirl22 - the true queen of NFL, thanks for the analysis every week.
