Hubpages is a platform where writers from all across the earth can write quality articles and submit for publication. These article in tern generate income when ads are place on them. The revenue generated from these ads are then shred by the publisher which is hubpages and the writer which is you. The revenue cut is writer 60% and publisher 40%. But page views have dwindled a lot on hubpages because of policies implemented by google. You should look up Google Panda. These polices implemented by Google saw hubpages loosing internet presence and of course less page views and revenue. Hubpages found a way to tackle the revenue loss by implementing niche sites. A niche site is a site which is focused on a specific subject matter. These type of sites tend to do much better that generalized matter sites. The niche sites below are all children from the mother ship hubpages. I must admit that they are pretty good and will only accept the best articles for publication.

Which hubpages niche will you begin to start making articles for?

Most of Hubpages niche site seems to be doing pretty well despite the youthfulness of the website itself. It shows that Hubpages has put in a lot of work to get these site to rank well in google and of course the quality content published on these sites. Hubpages itself is estimated to worth over $37,000,000 dollars. The list shows seven of the niche sites estimated to worth over a million dollars and a couple worth less than $50,000. The thing about a niche website is that everyone is unique and some content will always attract much more views than others. These websites have the potential to grow into massive authority sites if they continue on the same path while making beneficial changes.

So which niche site will you now opt to write for. Money is always a magnet but remember to be chosen for a niche your content has to be unique and top notch quality.

Getting The Website Estimates

The website values were given through and may not be factual figures, but rather an estimate of what the website should worth or currently worth.

Nice research on this, Clive. There was a time, six years ago, when the success of the niche sites would have been important to it's just interesting.

Well cheeky kid, you can always write articles and target the niche sites. You can also update old articles, you know, give them a little spruce and submit them to niche sites according to niche site submission guidelines.

Wow! These stats are really interesting. Never thought the whole site earned that much. I wish there would be redemption for the hubpages main site itself. It's pretty battered and articles that are not moved to niche sites are left there to die.

That's really interesting to know. I didn't realise there was so many niche sites. I've got 2 or 3 of my articles on niche sites, of which I'm very grateful of. These articles do tend to do better than the others.
