My Hub Score Is Dropping! Help!
Started Low And Started Building, How Exciting!-Then Nobody Came And It Started Dropping, Well That Sucks!
Hey fellow hubsters or whatever we call ourselves. I just started making hubs a couple days ago and although I came here for a totally different reason, I found out that I really love doing this! It helps keep the creative juices flowing if you know what I mean. After my first one I thought, "that was kinda cool" and started thinking of another one right away. After searching around at all of your great hubs and joining a couple fan clubs I got to thinking about one that really meant something to me. It took me a couple of days to create that one and when I finished I thought "man I hope people like this". It's the one I wrote about my wife and I being together since we were in Jr. High school named Started Dating When We Were 14 And We're Better Than Ever 30 Years Later. I was so excited after I published it and started watching as my Hub score started to rise. 85, then 87, oh my gosh it hit 90! I was really psyched. Then I noticed that nobody was even reading my stuff and I felt sad. Now my Hub score is starting to drop! Where is the humanity in all of this?! Nobody's reading and my score is dropping! This site sucks!
That's the downside to doing these hubs. You create this thing and call it your own and your proud of it, like a parent with an ugly kid. You don't know if it's good or bad but it's yours and that's all that matters. So stop making people like me sad and read our hubs too. And tell us that you love us even if you don't. What difference is it going to make to the world if you tell someone a sweet little lie? I'll tell you what it will do, it will make someone like me not feel so insecure about his work. It's not like I'm a professional writer or anything but I want to fit in. Throw the dog a bone for cryin out loud!
Okay, I'll stop wasting your time with my nonsense. I hope you all know I wasn't serious about any of this except for the parts that I was really upset about. No, but honestly, I really do enjoy doing this even if nobody cares to read them. I hope you all realize that I was only kidding about being upset. I will say that it presents a challenge to me to make a better hub and to interact more with more of you so I guess the social part of the website is working just fine. Keep on Hubbin, Hubsters.
I just realized that if I publish this with so few words, my Hub score is gonna tank. Oh Crap! Oh well I guess there are worse things that could happen. Later!
