Updated on June 7, 2013
stuff I found on ebay
stuff I found on ebay

I had been suffering from a writer's block recently. Looking for something to write about, I decided to explore ebay. The site is just awesome!. You can find almost anything on earth on ebay. I spent quite a few hours on ebay and then the idea for this article slowly started taking shape. I thought that most people go to ebay for buying things cheap. Then I thought what the sellers might be there for? Surely they must be trying to sell their items for the best price they can get. So I started searching for the most expensive items on ebay. And see what I have found on ebay!. Wow! you must see this too.

OK. No more literature, here are the top ten most expensive items that I have found on ebay. Grab them before they are gone! I bet you can not afford to buy any of these :) Happy window shopping!

A fine old Italian violin by Alessandro Mezzadri, 1697

A very rare, old Italian violin made by Alessandro Mezzadri in Ferrara in 1697, as indicated on the original label. A. Mezzadri was a great master. His work is personal, with strong and great style that is easy to identify.
This is a superb example of the maker's work in a fine, fully restored condition. Magnificent back is formed artistically in four pieces, the original varnish is of a wonderful texture and appearance. The voice of this instrument is of a great class, depth, character and a wonderful beauty.
This instrument is certified by J & A Beare in London. It is available to view and play by appointment at our location.
Please bid with confidence; we have sold certified French bows and Italian instruments to numerous satisfied collectors, dealers, players and soloists from worldwide. Bank wire transfer will be accepted within 5 days after auction completed.

Natural Blue Sapphire Ring

Ceylon sapphires are renowned for their brilliant play of light and their famed cornflower blue hue: this 69.35 carat stone is a perfect example of its kind. Like the bulk of stones we sell, this stone has not been enhanced in any way: its beauty is due entirely to the efforts of Mother Earth and the cutter’s skill, both of which combine to form its tremendous rarity – a stone of this size and quality is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Cut as a modified brilliant in a full oval shape, its intense color is beautifully set off by a simple platinum mounting with double-claw prongs and a basket whose architecture would make the builders of Notre Dame proud – it’s not easy to counterbalance nearly 70 carats of beautiful sapphire! If the customer desires, this setting could be modified to include sidestones. Domain Name

Guanyin is an extremely popular Goddess in Chinese folk belief and is worshiped in Chinese communities throughout East and Southeast Asia. Guanyin is revered in the general Chinese population due to her unconditional love, compassion and mercy. She is generally regarded by many as the protector of women and children. By this association she is also seen as a fertility goddess capable of granting children. An old Chinese superstition involves a woman wishing to have a child offering a shoe at a Guanyin Temple. Sometimes a borrowed shoe is used then when the expected child is born the shoe is returned to its owner along with a new pair as a "thank you" gift. Guanyin is also seen as the champion of the unfortunate, the sick, the disabled, the poor, and those in trouble. GIA RUBY GEMSTONE DOMAIN NAME & WEBSITE

Most expensive items sold on ebay

That's it. I realize that I will need to update this page constantly. Well, that gives me something to do!. After completing this page I am dreaming of someone buying something through this page. Wow! It will net me a fistfull of dollars.

When I looked around for more stuff I found out that on February 8th 2006 a yacht was bought by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich for the total cost being $168,000,000.00 USD and on August 16th 2001 a Gulfstream II jet was sold to an African charter airline company for $4,900,000.00 USD on ebay. Pretty encouraging and gives me hope!.

Now, let me go and pray that someone really buys something that is in the list above through this page. If you liked this page don't forget to bookmark this using the 'Share It' button below.

Best Regards

Ebay is still the place to be able to get your hands on items that are either not available in your country or sold out items or both. I dont mind paying extra as long as I get what I bidded on. I dont impulse buy but what if someone gets the item and there is no more left. As a seller and a buyer on ebay for a number of years, mostly buyer I have to admit!, Selling will always be more expensive than buying, in fact selling ebay fees along with all the other fees are so high. So I prefer to buy on ebay and not sell. Even though I may pay extra for a rare item I've always wanted or needed I would carefully check if the same item is available on there so that I can get the best price and also compare with all the top sites online like amazon, walmart and target depending on your location.

Here is a late thinker's thought.

If you were blessed and sold something from the dream. Could you tell me how you can sell it, if you do not own it. If you pay their price, you would have to put your $1,000,000.00 on top. This could be the straw that broke the Camel's back.

      Just a minor nit pick

See that is why you are a success and I am still a novice.

Here is a serious horror sale.

Selling a beautiful second hand cookbook on Ebay for $AUD13.00 plus $13.00 mail in Australia. Book was to cost $AUD43. mail to USA.

Email from USA Buyer want to Pay a total of $AUD 18.00 postage included for this Cooking book from New Zealand. I did not panic by accepting that 'buy it now price.' Today I received the Total $AUD26.00 for book and postage.

I know Sun Seven It does not match your magnificent prices, but I did think it was a good end of the year laugh.
