Kathleen Cochran is a writer & former newspaper reporter/editor who traveled the world as a soldier's better half. Her works are on Amazon.

Number Ten:

10. The dog ate it.

9. The restraining order went into effect before I could get my spouse to finish explaining how I’d ruined his life.

8. The cop said writing on a public building, even just the side, was vandalism.

7. I finally learned what copyright infringement meant.

6. I have so many unfeatured hubs, the icon appeared before I got a chance to hit “publish.”

5. Somebody else’s hub was exactly like mine and became the HOD.

4. I decided I could leave it half finished and Bubblews would take it any way.

3. My agent called and the movie deal for my novel went through.

2. Billybuc is still proofing the first two-thirds.

1. The HP staff says “How I Lost My Virginity” won’t get past the title tuner.

OH, no! Not the David Letterman "top 10" list! LOL

Very funny and clever. I'm still laughing trying to type.

      Voted up, and funny.

This started out as an homage to Dave Letterman. He's gone now. But the hub remains! Thanks for commenting. And get to those hubs!

      Thanks for the chuckle!

This one began as a homage to Dave's last year, but it sure was fun to write and share. Glad to provide a laugh!

This one and my one about hubbing being promiscuous get found by a newbie (to my work) every once in a while. It's always fun when someone new finds them. We hubbers have so much in common, it's eerie we have all found each other! Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Only 10? I'm planning to trump your 10 list with my 1,000 list. No, I'm just kidding. I have too many reasons not to finish that hub, ironic. =)

Jo Goldsmith11 and Meisjunk: Welcome to my hubs! You found me on a good one if you tend to teeter on the edge on a regular basis. M: I'm going looking for that hub with Damn in the title. Sounds like just my style. Jo: Let that dog bark - might bark out your next hub!

Ahaha, love this! I have a couple unfinished hubs myself.

And when I wrote a poem "Not Your Damn Pin-Up Girl", I changed it a million different ways to see why it wouldn't get past the rating barrier, and it was because of "Pin-Up Girl"!!! NOT "damn"! I was floored! That was the whole point of my poem!

I guess HubPages was worried I'd next post pictures. xD

That one I ended up deleting. I'll put it another site that allows it.

Voted up and funny! Thanks for writing. =)

So very funny! I agree with billybuc # 4 and # 5 are my favorites too.

I as well like # 10! Because I have a dog, and her barking sometimes doesn't help my creativity. :-) Shared and up!

In a show of humility, I will say that #4 and #5 are my favorites. Way too funny, Kathleen. What a great sense of humor. This reminded me of Letterman and that's my highest compliment....and seriously, thank you for the tribute. The editing is done; go ahead and publish it. :)
