30 "Writing on the Hubs"
My 30th Hub.
Writing on the Hubs
Since I retired a year and a half ago I have had the time to do something I never really thought I would be able to do, write. I tried a couple of places on the Internet. I tried a web page, that was more work than it was worth for just writing. I tried a couple of blogs, and that was a waste of time because I didn’t have the experience to get traffic. All I wanted to do is write to share my thoughts and feelings. I was never able to get anyone interested enough to share or comment.
With Hub Pages I feel that I have found a home to write. The hubbers have been kind and have let me know how they feel about my Hubs. I get comments, mostly good, but all are helpful criticism. I even welcome the ones that don’t agree with what I say. I am working on a book and the hubs are helping. I feel I have learned a lot about writing since joining the hubs.
I always had trouble expressing my feelings in writing and with the hubs I have learned how to put my feelings and thoughts on “paper”. I encouraged my sister to join and she wasn’t sure she could do it but with very little help she has published a few hubs now and she has done quite well. I would encourage anyone to give it a shot. You never know if you can do certain things unless you try.
One thing about Hub Pages, there will always be fellow hubbers that are willing to help. The whole idea of the hubs is to share. I have learned a lot from reading other hubs and I have been inspired by other Hubbers like Ghost32, Nellieanna, Jeremey, slusterbubble, Jan Fowler, OpinionDuck, American Romance, libby101a, pcoach and CoauthorU just to mention a few that have been an inspiration to me. There are many more but too many to mention all of them.
I just want to thank all of you. Without your comments and encouragement I may not have made it to this, my 30th Hub.
