Need help on Sitemaps
Hi, I'm not familiar how to create sitemaps on my google webmaster tool. Where can I get that? Will you have to add every sitelink on your site, I mean everytime you create hub?
To create a Sitemap based on the Sitemap protocol:
Create a text file and save it with a .xml extension.
Add the following to the top of the file:
Add the following to the bottom of the file:
Create an entry for each URL. The tag is required; the others are optional.
http://www.example.com/2005-01-01monthly0.8
Upload your Sitemap to your site. Then submit it to Google using Webmaster Tools.
Hi Kumar.. what is it to add to the top and to the bottom of the file?
(ps: your link, is that IANA?)
Thats just an example.
Wait I will write more.

Through A1 sitemap generator you can create the sitemap.
Go to: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com. It's a free sitemap generator.
1. Enter your url.
2. Download the sitemap.xml file
3. Upload it to your root domain folder.
4. Login go to your Google webmaster account and enter the url: example.com/sitemap.xml
If you want to add a sitemap for your hubpages on Webmaster tools, you don't have to create one yourself. It's done for you. You just have to add your hubpages sitemap to your hubpages domain in Webmaster Tools.

I write for a smaller niche, and it is seasonal. I have been penalized for this and am now forced to put all my information into one gigantic hub ... it looks awful, its ridiculously long and quite frankly many are going to land, go cross eyed and leave. In an attempt to salvage my writing which is...

I had a hub that was receiving around 1,300-1,500 views per day. It was chosen as Editor's Choice. It then dropped by about 1,000 views per day. I opted out of the program, but that hub is no longer showing in Google for the keywords that brought it all the traffic before EC messed it up. How can I...

This is just one example of many errors showing up in Google webmaster tools that appear to have category information added into the url of my hub creating a link to a non-existent hub. In the link below, "/family-and-parenting/kids/" is the part that I think may be creating the...
