I have made several hubs, but I need to branch out to more difficult and challenging subject matter. Any ideas other than "girly"stuff"?
Write about things you are most interested in and knowledgeable about. For my first hubs, I'm doing a lot of book reviews to get used to the system. However, I'll be adding in articles on my area of expertise (dog training) after I see what the Hub community is all about.
What is your biggest hobby/interest?
Doing movie or book reviews are a good way to branch out into different subjects and genres.
Walk around your house, neighborhood, bookshelf or a store until you see something you care about, know well and can write something interesting about.
Use it as a writing prompt, pretending you're telling a friend about it, explaining it, or teaching it to someone who wants to know about it.

I am frustrated. We now have to write bios that show our expertise at something. I am not an expert at something because I write about it.
