Since HP no longer has a title tweaker, and Google no longer has an adword tool that I can use, does anyone have a suggestion on how titles can be improved?
Use the keywords provided in Google Webmaster Tools.
Isnt that the same thing as Google Adwords?
You'll find all the keywords people used to find your hubs under 'search queries'.
These are no longer listed in Analytics, which is why HP no longer has the title tweaker.
Sorry Izzy I am not trying to be dense but I am trying to do this in another language also; are you referring to the front page of Google? (Mine has a box for pesquisar, which is search--not sure if that is the right thing though.)
Go to your Hub (regular view)
Click on the stats button.
When the tabs open, click on search.
The google adwords planner will still give you lists of keywords with traffic estimates and related keywords. You have to dig around a bit.
Sign up for adwords first (free) here:
You need 'tools and analysis' then 'volume and keywords'.
Why did they get rid of the title tweaker? I thought that was so helpful. I used it from time to time.
As others have said Webmaster Tools from Google still exists it just changed names and was updated a bit
Go into your Google Account then click on Adwords
or go directly to http://adwords.google.com
You will find it
or search on google for "adwords keyword tool"
You should try not to confuse the issue.
Webmaster tools are entirely different to google's adwords planner.
Webmaster tools are something you sign up for through your Google Account. The tools give you metrics for any website (or HP subdomain) that you happen to own.
If you look under 'search queries' in Webmaster tools you get a list of keywords that people searched for, and came to your pages via.
