My Google traffic has fallen drastically.

I've just found out someone has copied one of my hubs. I've now filed a DMCA complaint today so hopefully it'll be sorted some time soon. My traffic from Google, which had just started to build up, has also been almost non existent in the last couple of days and not just from this hub, but all of them. Does anyone know why this happens? Is it because it registers with Google that I might be the one that's doing the copying?

At this time of year, many humans in the northern hemisphere tend to focus their energies outside and not on the Internet.

Relache, thanks for your reply. Yes, hopefully it's a seasonal thing.
It just seems such a drastic drop. Only two of my hubs get Google traffic but in the last three days Google traffic to these hubs has dropped to zero. I'm now only getting traffic from HubPages. My Hubs have also dropped to a lower position in google search too which would explain why I'm not getting any traffic.

Are you see the traffic drop on your Google Adsense account? Analytics? Hubpages rolling stats?

I reported at the start of the month that my Google Adsense impressions had dropped away to almost nothing.

Rolling stats and Analytics confirm my traffic has not fallen.

It went back to normal after a week, but only for 2 days before Adsense dropped away again.

Google earnings are down, Amazon sales have disappeared, but HP earnings normal.

Have checked and my Adsense ID is still correct across all my accounts.

Problem with the 60/40 share thing at HP?

It's as if they are getting my views and not me.

    Hi Izzy M,

I haven't made a penny on Google adsense but as I'm with the Hubpage programme, don't have many hubs yet and only been back on Hubpages a couple of months after a long spell away, I don't expect much yet.

My Hubpage earnings have dropped and when I go into stats for each hub, there is no google traffic showing up anymore.

Ahh! Then as Relache says, it is probably just a seasonal drop and it will get better again. Good time to write back-to-school articles or even Halloween articles.

I've got different problem. I'll maybe need to contact HP staff for help.

@Izzym, I learnt you were hit by the so called Google panda some years back, so how did you get out? I need more help from you. Thanks.

Nothing I did got me out of it, Incomeguru.

Traffic has crept back up but is still less than half what it once was.

It probably didn't help that I de-optimized those hubs in case it was a Google penalty for over-optimization, so not surprising that the search engines can't find the majority of them now.

No, i started new accounts, some of which are doing really well, much better than this one.

Not that I am seeing much benefit at the moment seeing as my views seem to be stuck on the HP share of things!
