I have been reviewing several of my hubs, and making some edits. When I open the stats at the top of the page, and go to the "hub metrics" tab, I find a puzzle.
On the stat titled "View duration," on every single hub I looked at, that says, "Still collecting data."
This is puzzling, as none of these hubs are particularly new; some are over a year old.
What's up with that?
I investigated this before and the only difference (that I could find) between my hubs that say "still collecting data" and those that have a star rating for view duration is the total number of views each hub has accumulated.
Like you I have some very old hubs that say "still collecting data." They happen to be ones that never really took off and don't have many total views. Is that also the case for the hubs you checked? Maybe a staff member will come along and give us the official answer.

Ever since the switch to subdomains, I have seen specific subdomain names listed on the traffic stats for individual Hubs; and on the Traffic Sources Page, the numbers for HubPages have seemed to decline (understandably). Recently, I have seen higher numbers for HubPages.com, and I don't...

I notice that on most of my hubs my visitor duration is 5*s. (a handful of 4*s, but nothing ever less than 4*s). I am wondering if my hubs are just so interesting that my readers stay awhile or is a 5* duration rating fairly easy to achieve? I don't want to pat myself on the back...

I've noticed recently that certain information is being removed from my stats. An example would be that my hub on atheism which was written about 20 months ago and which has the duration of time people spent on it a full five stars now saying that it hasn't been measured yet. That's not true. It used...

I have several hubs for which Google Analytics reports "Avg Time on Page" as 00:00:00. But in HP stats, those same articles show 5 stars for View Duration. The figures for page views seem to track between GA and HP.Anybody have an idea about the view duration discrepancy?

Hub has 5 stars for view duration in stats but not featured due to...lack of reader engagement? How is that possible? I notice this is the case on a couple of my religious (controversial) hubs. Is this just HPs way of trying to rid my atheist hubs?

I have just realised that the view duration for several hubs of mine is not properly working. Hubs that were previously showing a duration are now reporting that not enough data has been collected. Here are some examples:...
