    Somewhere along the way I feel like Michelangelo was over-represented and now far too under-represented. I keep his Creation of Adam piece hanging over my desk because it's just so inexhaustibly profound to me...

    And above that I have the classic George Washington crossing the Delaware because of the similar color schemes and raw power. It doesn't make sense to most people but it does to me in a weird way.

      George Washington crossing the Delaware is a fantastic and poignant piece of art and history. I see it more as a symbol.  Michelangelo was brilliant. In his golden years, I believe in his 70s, he was still sculpting. It was reported that in his 70s he could look at a piece of marble and form a sculpture within 3 - 5 strikes.  It is your desk, after all.
