If I ask questions about Hubpages will that get more people to read what I have written?
Making high-quality Hubs that are helpful and useful is a better way to get people to read what you write, especially if you are making them to answer other people's questions.
If you ask intelligent and interesting questions or provide intelligent and interesting answers, yes, people will often click through to find out more about you and may end up reading your hubs and even following you.
If you do something exceptional, people will sometimes even click on the Share button or make a note of the link so they can reference it in some hub they have written or plan to write later.
Yes it might happen. But I don't think so. Just try to creat more enthusiatic and interesting hubs that will attract hubbers and try to add more better tags. That'll get you along. But the most important thing is following more hubbers and commenting on their hubs. I might be new here but I ahve experienced it, I received just six followers in a day just by following them back. You can read my hub what it is to be a hubber.
Hope that helps.

Hi! My name is Max and I'm new to hubpages. For all you experienced hubbers out there, do you have any advice for young hubbers like myself getting started in hubpages and fitting in? Cheers,Max

Why do negative questions about HubPages always get the most responses? We need to encourage good quality writers to these pages. I think that if we really want to get the site back to where it apparently once was - then we need to look after it as if it were our very own.

Do you follow hubbers without reading their writing first? If so how do you decide to follow them? On what criteria do you base their worthiness to be followed by you? There could be obvious answers but each individual can answer for themself.
