How can I get a higher score than a 70 on the pages that I write on hubpages.
I have noticed that more content definitely helps. I have a few hubs that get lots of traffic but have low hub scores. I have a few other hubs that get little traffic but have high hubscores--these are typically my longer hubs.
word count - you want to have at least 800 words. Make sure you have multiple capsules and linking to other hubs/hubbers always helps.
You know I've been thinking about something like that myself. My overall score is decent, I suppose, but most of my hubs seem to fall in the mid seventies range. Yes, there's one or two in the eighties, and one spends a fair amount of time in the low nineties.
One starts to doubt himself, doesn't he? I suspect you and I, amsmoving, will just have to give it more time. WIth increased outside traffic, bigger numbers that way, I think the scores will go up. I don't think you should interpret those seventy scores to be a reflection of the quality of your hubs.
The ways of HubPages scoring is a mystery, as you know.

produces: anxiety!C'mon, Hubpages! I've been a good boy. I've improved my hubs. I've been "awarded" a Level 2 Commentator (oh joy.) My personal story of near death and survival is consistently coming up TWICE (original hub and five year follow up) in Google search on page one out of over...
