On hubpages each post you make is a stand alone piece of work and should be seen like an article rather than a blog post. All you need to do is click the "start a new hub" link at the top of the page and go from there.
Hubpages is for making single sales or informative pages. Hubpages can be used like diary, blog or journal but to be honest writing articles less than 300 words is not going to cut it if your purpose is to make money.
