I'm new to the "HubPages" but wonder how you accumulated so many followers? I have none after a week
That's because your profile shows no reasons why people should follow you. You haven't filled in any text there, you only have two hubs so far and you have participated little in the HubPages community.
People don't become interested in a new Hubber automatically, you need to make them become interested in you by showing that you are worth following. Leave comments, answer questions and participate in the HubPages community.
Just get stuck in by asking questions/answering questions/commenting on other peoples Hubs/writing Hubs etc. You will get noticed and people just start Following you - before you know it, you will have a steady amount of Followers.
Happy Hubbing :-)
Don't worry about getting followers.

Hello! I am new to the HubPages community and thought I would introduce myself. I joined HubPages in the hope of venturing out on my own as a writer. I've been writing for other people long enough and thought if I don't do my own thing eventually, it'll only get harder as time passes. I am very...

What do you think about the idea of having wills set aside for each and every writer here on the hubpages platform? I've had this discussion in the past with another hubber within the community and we thought that it would be an interesting forum topic. If you were to suddenly pass on, wouldn't it...

HP has always said do evergreen hubs. Politics is certainly not evergreen. it has a short "shelf-life" if it is about a current event. And since I would mostly write about U.S. politics, they might have very little appeal in other countries. I use my blogs to write about politics,...
