What happens to a hubber's precious content  in the unlikely event that HubPages folds?

The content you place on HubPages belongs to 'you' and you should have a copy of it somewhere stored safely!  If HubPages folds we will all need to find some where else to publish our work.  Personally I don't want to do that and I would prefer to keep publishing here on HubPages.

That is certainly a nagging question.  I would suggest that anything that you write for HubPages or any other on line account for that matter, that you do so in a word processor format and then cut/paste it into the HubPages format for publishing.  This allows you to have an electronic copy on file so that if the unlikely happens, you don't lose your work.  Don't create original documents on the format of the site. If it's really important to you then keep a copy somewhere.
