As a new hubber it seems like my hubs do well for a few days and then begin to dwindle. How can...
I prevent that?
From what I've seen, that's common even for experienced hubbers. There is a natural spike in traffic that comes when you post a new hub because it spends a few days on the latest hubs list before sinking down. It's totally normal, but if you're looking for ways to slow it down or steady a hub's traffic, focus on back linking to the hub. Post a link to it on facebook, reddit or some other site that pertains to the subject you wrote about and it will help boost traffic.
Yep from my experience that is the norm. A hub gets a fair few internal views from other hubbers then typically 'vanishes' for a few days or weeks till slowly gaining some traffic from search engines. One way to 'fill the gap' is to write several hubs around a topic and link them together to encourage traffic to flow between them.
hope that helps!
Yeah great advice - I found the same thing. As my hubs tend to be on similar things I cross-reference them which helps to maintain traffic for my older hubs.

I haven't had any traffic on my hubs for a few days. Has something changed? Before that I usually had 1-2 a day. So this might just be bad luck/losing PageRank or something.

Do you prefer working on a hub over more than a day, building it slowly and only by a few steps at a sitting. Or, do you like to get the job done and move on to the next hub as quickly as possible. Or, something else?
