how hubpages choose hubs to show on homepage?
Hubpage shows few hubs on homepage.I want to know that how hubpage choose these hubs. These hubs are not with score 100 still they are on homepage also their hubbers have score like 93-95 -97 etc not exect 100.
If someone knows tell me.
I know this depend on so many factors and first of is the quality of your hub and it's uniqueness, the popularity score of the hub also play a great deal for your hub to be displayed on Hubpages homepage. I had hub that was very popular at some point with a hub score of 100 and got displayed on the hubpages homepage, these are just but a few factors I believe very much that contribute to this factor
not sure but i think hubs with maxim score of the week or month or hubs with maximum popularity......
actually they also look for related topics to your articles on hub pages. And then they put up the articles with scores best in that category and matching content.
Its not point that counts it is popularity and hits on that page which counts ...................................................................................
It is featured hubs. If your hubs are getting high traffic, you will be choosed as featured hub. Normally, that is only for regular high authors.
If you want to get your hub in featured, just make it popular topic. This is just my estimation.
It has to do with the categories you are signed up for first. These are the categories that are displayed there.
The Second part is a combination of hubscore and traffic I think
They come and they go. You shouldn't be so concerned with hubscore. I don't mean to say that hubscore isn't relevant, it's just that it swings wildly up and down, and often changes daily.
I've had hubs that land on home pages, but never have I seen what I though was my best work landing on home pages.
But maybe I'm not the best judge of what my "best" is?
I hit home page status with hubs about animals, so I'm thinking that writing about wildlife is something that isn't being done so much on this site, so maybe I should do more of that. In other words, what it comes down to is this: Write in niches or areas that have less competition in them, and you'll wind up promoted on everyone who follows that topics homepage.
To make you hub appear on home page , you must make your hub HOT , may be one hub with score 95 appear on hubpage even other hub with hub score 100 doesn't appear , this depend on some factors like:
1-traffic coming from outside hubpages
2-number of comments you get in this hub
3-number of feed backs you get.
hey friends thanks for your answers i really got helpful information.i have seen few hubs which dont have so much content but all of them were having good quantity of comments. Not all of the authors were having hubscore more then 90 .But i think comments may have come due to the hub getting featured on homepage.Dont know what exectely the point is.but still am quite satisfied from your answers thanks for being halful.
It all depends on the quality Traffic you get in to your Posting on Hubpage.

So I'm replying to a comment on my hub and upon scrolling through the hub (I always check for errors or how I can improve), I see the related hubs section. There are five hubs there including one of mine. What immediately got my attention is that the other four hubs has "editors choice"...

Just had a big drop on my profile score. And all my hubs were featured along with a steady 10 Editors Choice. I say 'were' because 3 were just unfeatured and I don't know what to do about that. My views are over 945,000. Boo-hoo. Hubpages doesn't love me anymore!

I am just curious, all 92 hubs of mine are featured. In your opinion, should one delete (although Featured) any hubs where the score on a particular hub has eventually dropped way down from when it was initially high at one point? Or would it be better to just unpublish and later...

I have noticed that, when signed out, there is a new homepage. I am not sure whether the new format is helpful. There are some great hubbers featured making statements on how much they earn from this site, the rewards and a massive video that talks about HubPages. There are also...

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.

I think I know something about writing articles. I created a new hub yesterday. HubPages took 24 hours before declaring, in one of their mystery messages, that it was of sufficient quality. You know what? It was too good. I deleted it and will now easily place it elsewhere and earn with it.No...
