If a user finds my hubpage from Google, then uses that hubpage to link
to more of my hubpages, do all those links get attributed to google or just the first one? if the latter is true, then the traffic stats are really distorted - they'll show many more hubpages as sources when the user really 'found' me from google
No, users are tracked by session. The first time they hit your article on hubpages.com the proper referrer will be logged. As they continue through the site (hubpages), their subsequent path would be within the same session. Hubpages is tagging the logs with hubpages if the user found your article by a hubpages search.
