Slideshow in Hubs is not numbered and not at all user friendly. I mean the old slideshow views , that is instead of thumbnail or normal , if we select the slideshow view option , when we move from one photo to slide , there is no numbering of photos .
For example : 1 st photo out of 20 , 2 nd out of 30 like we could see in the slideshow page. It is also not possible to know whether the slideshow ends or not. The visitor is not able to know the order of photos.
I have added a photo below which is an example of what i am trying to tell. The red marked place to the middle left hand side is where the Arrows should be with a small caption "Slideshow"
It will be good if there is a heading "Slideshow" along with the arrows Lot of people will not be understanding it and find it difficult to navigate.
Also if the arrows is placed on the left hand side to the middle of the page (Example Photo Added Above) where it will be easy to click the arrows and see the photos , without going to the top to click the arrow and then adjusting the page to see the complete photo and then going up to make the next click and then adjusting the page. It is very boring.
You may be telling there is auto slideshow, but , it is very slow and the visitors will love to use the arrows and the arrows are in a place where it should not be.
Slideshow in photo capsule is a good option indeed, but it will be much better if we can let the user know the total number(as in thumbnail view) of photos in that particular capsule and also a display of those numbers will be good to see.
I second Shinu's suggestion.
I don't think it was designed to have 30 pictures in a slideshow
Position of arrows and numbering is important in slideshow capsules

Out of all the sites I use, this site is the one I can most easily navigate and use; including the HubTool. I mean this seriously. It really is the only site that I can say I pretty much always have a good experience on in relation to getting around on the site and using its features.

I write for a smaller niche, and it is seasonal. I have been penalized for this and am now forced to put all my information into one gigantic hub ... it looks awful, its ridiculously long and quite frankly many are going to land, go cross eyed and leave. In an attempt to salvage my writing which is...

Sometimes people don't want to see the whole slide show.
