Yes, your own views are recorded on the Hubpages page views statistics.
I tend to look at traffic by subtracting all Hubpages page views - as search engine traffic is all that really matters in the long term.

I think it is counted. But the ones which matter are the unique page views from other members and the ones from search engines.
I think its not counted otherwise my hub score is increasing everyday...
It is recorded as page views only, because whenever, after editing mu Hub, I check the Google Adsense account every time number is increased.That's why I can say that our own view is also counted.

Every time I create a hub and save the draft, I notice there are page views that show up BEFORE I publish it. Sometimes the page views show up before I've saved it as unpublished. Is HP counting all our editing page views?
