What is the difference between Hubpages' question part and forums?
If I need any information than I ask question here but I did not go to forums. Is there any specialty of forums?
Questions encourage people to give short helpful answers that could help the community while the forums are for discussions about a topic, back and forth type of thing.
You can only respond once to a question but as TheWhisper points out the forums allow back and forth commenting/discussions. I find you'll usually get a quicker response in the forums. You'll also notice more regular contributors in the forums. If you don't get a response in one i'd always try the other as not everybody frequents both.
I actually already answered this with a hub:

Interesting. I didn't know the real difference, either. I wonder why they only let you answer a question one time...because then it turns into a forum???

I read both forum entries and answers/questions entries but the two features seem to overlap. Many of the questions asked in "answers" are technical questions asked by hubbers about HP. Some elicit long threads of answers just like in the forums. Since the "questions/answers"...

I just read this excellent post by Greekgeek about the difference between HP's new Idle feature and Squidoo's WIP feature. It would be great if someone from HP staff could explain why they feel HP has chosen to set it up the way they have done.http://greekgeek.mythphile.com/2012/09/ …...

Someone from Trump's inner circle wrote an op ed in NYT, saying what Never Trumpers and others have said for 2 years? What will happen in the next 90 days? Will GOP Congress investigate?
