Why I can see pageviews on my UNPUBLISHED article? Does it mean hubpage counts my own page views?
Yes, HubPages counts your own page views. Which I think they should leave out of the totals. They do not count your own page views when tabulating ad revenue earnings, so they know how to tell the difference. It would help to be able to see pure page view data without our own visits being counted.
Thanks people for answering!
Yes, you are right Rock_nj, it would be much better if they would not include our own pageviews so we know how to identify how many visitors we had for a day.
As everyone else said, HP counts your own hits. Even while editing.
If you want more detailed and more accurate traffic information, apply for a Google Anaytics account and insert your analytics ID into the field on your account/earnings page. Analytics lets you specify a filter to ignore your own IP address.

This is not a compliant, but I've noticed that one of my most popular hubs had a drop in page views. It went from about 184,000 views to 172,000 views. I'm just wondering how this happened and what it means.
