Does Google see the capsules that I have marked "do not display"?
With the ongoing concern with Google Panda, does Google see my capsules I have marked "do not display"? I have retained some notes which are clearly duplicate content.
When I was doing some testing, the searches here on HubPages still showed the unique words in my hidden capsules.
I believe I must update my content to completely delete these capsules I retained for the sake of notes.
If you do not display a capsule, that capsule is not even rendered in the HTML. You can "view source" of a Hub with a hidden capsule, and you'll see that it's not there.
Don't delete a capsule unless you are 100% sure you'll never need it again.

Hello all,I have three questions about hidden capsules - where you have selected 'do not display this capsule':1. Does it matter a jot what I put in it - I was going to tag one onto the end of every hub to record where I have already laid backlinks for that hub- just so I don't have to keep a...

I've heard they slow traffic down although I have a few hubs with call outs that are doing well, so I'm not sure what to do. I hear some say they're fine and others that they are traffic killers. Would appreciate some advice from the staff, thank you.

I like to add ebay capsules under "what you may need" sections before posting step-by-step instructions, however, to add multiple types of products you must add multiple capsules. This makes the page look like a disjointed clutter of ads rather than a collection of ads that are relative...

I apologise to Marisa, as I have no intention of 'stealing her thunder' for her excellent hub gathering statistics on the Plunges and Surges - http://marisawright.hubpages.com/hub/Hu … es-survey. I have looked at another aspect which was not included in the survey. I looked at about 10...

Here is a question for experts. I am curious how a hub is tracked over time?In specific, suppose I create a new hub or article and it is featured after published on HubPages. After a few days, when the google bot finds it and index it, it appears on google search with some page ranking. After a...
