Do we earn from ads displayed on our profile page, or only on our hubs?
what about from our questions and answers?
If you have gotten your affiliate earning accounts activated such as adsense, then yes you will earn from all ad's displayed I believe, but if you haven't then I'm sure you get paid nothing.
Try asking the question in the help area located on the upper right corner of the screen, that might help you more accurately.
So long as you have activated the HP ad program and approved for Adsense then the answer is yes. Whatever ads are placed within your account you get paid for them.
Not so with question and answers.
Your account is a subdomain, that means it's a website within a website so whatever happens in your subdomain is yours.
The questions and answers, forums and other HP pages belong to the main website (HP) so you don't get paid for those ads, HP does.

I know that you can choose to display your idle hubs on your profile page, but I don't, because I don't want Google to see them at all and get confused by all those "do not follow." What this means is that my idle hubs are not available for anyone to see, and I have to actively...

Hi there,I've noticed that since my hubs are no longer "new", they aren't visible on my profile page. One can find them by clicking the word "more" (next to the categories latest - hot - best), but if I direct a person who's never seen HubPages before to my profile page,...
