How do I make mysef known in the HubPages community without over-stepping Promotional Aspects?
I have tried to make myself known on my 1st Hub but it may border on promotion. I'm not sure what to do?
Read other people's hubs and leave insightful comments. Follow those whose writing you are interested in.
The best way is to engage with other Hubbers who share your interests. You can comment on their hubs, hoping some will find your hubs and comment back. You can become a follower and leave fan mail; some will reciprocate. You can also participate in relevant forum discussions. You can ask interesting questions about writing etc. None of these activities are against the rules. (Posting self-serving links in forum posts is not permitted).

I have only alluded to it in the past, but I have been struggling with a cancer diagnosis for a few years. I went through chemo and was considered to be in remission. After a few chest x-rays, PET scans, and all that...
