Are poems considered "spammy" on Hubpages?
I have a few poems as hubs. I like writing poetry. I just wonder if it's spammy.
As long as there is a section here for poetry, I do not see how it could be considered spammy.
Hubpages is here so that you can write what you enjoy writing. If that is poetry, then that is what Hubpages is for. That is how I see it anyway.
Beats me how you'd make the connection between poetry and 'spammy'. There's no logical link.
You might get the odd putdown from those who believe that a 'soft topic' hub not designed to make money is a hub taking up space that could be put to better use.
But that's got nothing to do with spamming.
If you enjoy writing and posting poetry, keep on doing it
I don't think so. They always approve my poems as long as it meets the guidelines of course

I have had a few poems receive non-featured status. I've been able to revive them by adding a couple of text paragraphs to expound on the topic of the poem while maintaining the integrity of the poem. It lengthens the hub, extending its survival, and therefore, making it more searchable. I've also...

Do you think poetry belongs on Hubpages?I am going Hub Hopping and I would say 70% of the hubs are poetry. Now I like poetry, I even have one poem myself on Hubpages, but should poetry really be on here?

Just wondering! I have a lot of old poems (I no longer write poetry often though I once did). I still write a lot of stories... especially flash fiction.I could put my poems and stories here on HubPages... but my main motivation would be to make money. So tell me... do you make money with your...
