Do below par 'How to' hubs still earn well in advertising?
A theory I had is that if someone made a how to hub, specifically for people to click on in search engines, but of rubbish quality if it would still earn on it's advertising.
I doubt if it would earn much if it really had very little content.
When people look for 'how to's' they are still looking for some type of informative and useful information. No matter what quality of the hub should still be maintained even if you are only looking to create it for the revenue. If there is not enough information in it, google will place it on the end of the pages and it wouldn't really get any visual. You would also come to a point that hubpages might find a violation in it due to the lack of information and you would have ads disabled automatically meaning you wouldn't hit any revenue from it anyways.

I just wrote a hub on making money with HubPages but wanted to make sure it's ok before publishing. I know you are not supposed to mention what you are earning on HP, but is it ok to use titles like 'How To Earn $1000...

If 50 Hubs Can Earn You $1 Per Day, Is It Logical 5000 Hubs Can Earn You $100 Per Day?
