How can I check my page ranking on Google?
If you know the answer could you try and keep it simple please? I've read an answer to roughly the same question but just couldn't understand it. Sorry, I'm a dumbass ...
Angie, try this:http://www.googlerankings.com/prindex.php
Simply input your url and click enter.
Not sure how good this link is but you can try it. There was another one I had but cannot seem to find it.
I still don't get it. I put in the URL and I saw my page, but I didn't see a rank. I did the same for Patti English's page and for hubpages generally. Where is the rank?
you can check your Google ranking via http://www.mypagerank.net/
Shouldn't that be "dumb ass"?
And I don't know how to contact Google, but if you happen to find their REAL address, not their e-mail address, please let me know.
I want to send them a little letter... err... parcel... err... present.
Now where can I get some Semtex?

Guys - there is a big difference between your pagerank and your page's ranking. The former can be seen in the Google toolbar or at the link 'Just Ask Susan' gave. The latter is simply where in the results your page appears for a particular search, that can be checked manually or using tools like the rankchecker component of the SEOBook toolbar.

Alright, this is a very basic question (yes, I know it is, but.....) I thought I understood this but the other night, someone told me that indexing has no affect on page ranking. He went as far as to say that he has purchased page ranking from Google, etc. I have not heard of...

Is page ranking the ultimate goal? The reason I ask this is because I'm new to this business and so I've been studying Hubpages, SEO techniques and a lot of blog-related material recently and it seems that page ranking is what everyone is shooting for. Will updating your Hub change its ranking on Google. For instance, One of my Hubs ranks 3rd, but if I add more links, information, or pictures, is there a chance that Google will change my ranking negatively?
