How do I formulate a web address?
I'm trying to create my first hub and I can't get past the first page, as the computer won't accept anything I put in as a web address. I don't know the first thing about web addresses. What will work?
All you need to do is type in your title and a web address will be automatically generated for you. So, you don't need to be a computer genius! If the address is already taken, you can alter your title or slightly alter the address. Good luck and welcome to HubPages!
Thanks, denisemai. Boy, do I feel stupid. I'm learning everything by having to ask questions and it makes me feel dumb! I'm sure glad my article is already written
Haha! No worries. If you notice from my profile, I'm pretty new, too. The only way I knew what to do is I've already blundered my way through. Blundering is my best skill.
I've even still got to complete my profile and I can't find the photo I stored on the web a couple of weeks ago. Anyway, can you tell me how to get the article I wrote from my Word program into the Hub? So, far, nothing has told me that.
One time I wrote in word and copied and pasted into the HubPages capsules but there was random spacing at the end of each capsule that needed to be deleted. I usually type right into the HP. Maybe someone more savvy can chime in. Good luck.
