What if a newly published hub has a declining hubs score?
I just published a hub and the hub score was 51, and a few hours later it was 48. What is wrong?
I think this is normal as hub scores are always fluctuating. The scores of my own hubs are also always changing. Sometimes they increase, sometimes they decrease. If you look at the list of all your hubs in "my account", you'll see that the list won't always be in the same order because the hub scores keep changing.
Generally, if you just published a hub, the score will be low and then it will slowly increase after some time. Once it has increased, it can still decrease although just by a few points.
In my case, what I found was, if I first create a new hub, the score will be really low. If I finish making the hub and then publish it right away, the score will still be low. But if I take a few more days or so to finish the hub and then publish it then, the score will be a bit higher.

Google can't see scores, so the best way to stop stressing is to ignore them. I don't even notice them any more.

Sometimes when I have ideas for hubs, I "start a hub" and sometimes finish it later or just let it sit there for a while. Maybe I should just write down my hub ideas instead. Does it hurt my hub scores or...

I don't worry about hubscores as long as my hubs get featured the first time I hit "publish". I know the score can start off low but can steadily climb over time. Curiosity has finally gotten the better of me...

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they...
