Are hubs automatically tagged or do we need to use tags?
Tags for hubs are auto-generated based on the content in the article. There is no longer a way to manually add tags. It was a feature HubPages removed roughly a year ago.
Tags aren't used anymore on HubPages because they were perceived as keyword spam aimed at search engines. So, you will find a lot of old information on the site about them but they are no longer relevant.
