What happens if I add my hubs to a facebook account? Does it help me at all?
I post links to my Hubs on my FB page all the time. Most of my friends/family are aware of my status as a wanna be writer/journalist so I figure I can hit them up for at least a few extra page views ...even if they only do it only out of pity. I'm not proud. (haha)
Posting links to your hubs will give you two things, although how successful it is depends on your hubs and also how many people see them.
First, you may get direct traffic from people seeing the links and either sharing them somewhere else or clicking on them and visiting your Hub
Second, your Hubs will have more back links so on Search Engines they may appear higher in the search results than they may have otherwise.
My advice, give it a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain

Do I need a Facebook account to get traffic? For privacy reasons I closed my Facebook account and I don't do Twitter. Will it still be possible to generate traffic to my hubs if I don't engage in social media? Thanks in advance for your help.
