How do I create hubs that meet their standards of publishing?
I stopped writing hubs because of emails about my articles not meeting their standards. I want to create hubs that will help people. These hubs are new to me and I have my own style of writing. I don't like to use images because too many are copyrighted. If my hubs are that lousy, I don't know what to say. It's one thing to be lousy. It's something else to not meet their standards.
Robert, I suggest you click on "Help" at the top right of the screen and then select "Learning Centre." It will tell you everything you need to know about creating hubs and the guidelines required. You should try to have at least three images. Try "Pixabay" they have images on most subjects and they are free use Public Domain images. Good luck.

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

Writing under another name I have over 100 hubs published over 6 months. I started getting some traffic and even some Google and Amazon revenues. I have increased my hub count on a steady basis using keyword research. I started submitting to RSS feeds. I have read all the greats on HubPages about...
