Hey everyone, I wanted to copy and paste my gaming articles on a Gameskinny site too. Is that allowed or will hubpages pick it up as a copied article since the content will be same but on different sites?

Technically, our only requirement is that the content is published on HubPages first. However, we recommend against reposting the content elsewhere after you have published on HubPages because it may cause Google to impose duplicate content penalties on the other website (as Google has no way of knowing that you, the owner and the author, are the one who published both).

Why would you want to 'dilute' your traffic? Write different ones for the other site - there's nothing stopping you writing on the same topic. I do it all the time and so get paid from two sources for the same ideas.

The dilemna for me is that gameskinny only allows reviews of games no more than 2months old. Now I have a library extending back several years that I want to write about. Whereas, hubpages allows content from any era.

Hence why I wanted to write articles on hubpages first and foremost but games that are relatively new (less than 2months release) I wanted to post on gameskinny aswell if you catch my drift?

Why not write about new games and put that on the other site and articles on games older than two months and put them on this site?  Seems like that's the best option.  Then when a game is older than two months you can take the article off of the other site (or maybe it's automatically removed) and expand it/change it to put it on HP.

            Hi theraggededge,

I like your idea of writing on the same topic but on a different site. Which site can I write similar topics to what I have on HubPages?

Hi Daniel, I write on my own site and on two other paying sites. They are both owned by the same company and the original editor contacted me after reading my hubs. There are other paying sites out there but I don't know which ones to recommend because I haven't tried them.

Thanks, Bev. Is it too much to ask for the URLs of those two other paying websites you mentioned?

Yes, I found other paying sites but have not dared try them without someone's recommendation.

I was thinking of posting things I wrote on HubPages on Steemit. On Steemit earnings are based on popularity and votes. Views as not as important as you earn money only for seven days after the post.

Sounds an awful lot like the old Bubblews site...it didn't last long and a lot of people didn't get paid at the end.
