    Hello everyone.
I have been on Hubpages for more than 5 years and have sporadically written hubs.

I have recently written two hubs titled "Fruit Basket No. 1" and "So You Think You Are Special?"

After writing both of these i got an email from hp saying that my article COULD be featured and recommended me to make few improvements.

Not saying that I am a good writter or anything, but this has never happened. My articles were almost always featured. They only stop being featured due to traffic which is where you get a circle thats half white and half black next to the article.

I see that this is an opportunity for me to improve my writing and I would love to hear feedbacks from you all on where I can improve my hubs.

As the email I received was probably automated and did not specify where the improvements and changes need to be done. Thank you.

Unless you post a link to the articles in question we can't help you.

Your second article suffers from the same problems as your first.  It is filled with mistakes such as grammar problems and misspellings.   It is also much more a blog type of piece, not an informative piece such as is generally found on HP.  It seems to wander a bit aimlessly, repeats the same thing over and over and is vague in places.

ex. "Special is a by product of being you. Ordinary plain old you. Can Beyonce be anymore Beyonce than she already is? She is as Beyonce as she can be. It is a by product of taking small steps one step at a time and just slowly and steadily plowing through."  I'm not sure this really says anything, or at least not anything about being special.
        (and it's byproduct)

Maybe consider starting a blog and put your pieces there.  You could also try to make your pieces a bit more informative and not all opinion which tends to be what you see on HP.  Good luck.

Fruit Basket No 1 is a weird title for an article that rambles around in several topics none of which have anything to do with fruit. The thing is that it's very light on information; it's more of a blog than an article and HubPages is not as blogging platform.

I only have time to skip through the piece but there are a lot of small grammar errors

It's like having an acquaintance I know who keeps bringing up the topic of india (should be capital I)and Indian culture everytime (every time is two words) we meet just for the sake of creating conversation. Its like "dude, enough already."

Instead, there would be youtube (It's YouTube) instruction videos and professional walking coaches.

There are lots of similar errors. Try running your text through a program such as Grammarly to catch mistakes.

Wow thanks a lot, Natalie and Rupert. I will definitely heed the advice you both have given me. I tried Grammarly and it is a technological miracle! Thank you.
