I was told my article was eligible for Patient's Lounge and asked to edit my title to make it more personal but now it looks too long - what do you think? Also any other comments on grammar etc that may need repair please let me know.

I always include one long picture in the mix to share on Pinterest.

Thanks for any and all opinions.

I read your article and my heart goes out to you.

As re: title, my random thoughts.

I wouldn't limit the SEO by putting in a specific month name. As a side note, Google is naming other months and days.

I also noticed that the competition is murderous.

I really searched, but couldn't find any niche-of-a-niche keywords for you. Maybe plug "Myositis" into FB; reading some of the results might give you some ideas.

Thank you for the input. I had written the article last year and forgot I still had that date on the article so switched it to "last day in February" throughout. I have a couple other articles on myositis on another profile but as the disease is rare so is the traffic for that keyword lol. Traffic is steady but likely will never be a boom.

Those of us with rare illnesses are often asked to write on our disease to create awareness so that is why this was written. Hopefully like my other articles it will pick up steady traffic even if lower in numbers than other articles may garner.

Thank you again for the tips.

Yes:  You might better write a title such as "What You Need to Know About _________________"

I've got an article elsewhere that I know HP would be ecstatic to have on this niche site, no joke and not kidding. smile

    But with the:
    A. Major reformatting work involved,
    B. The associating it with the hubpages.com domain name before being transferred to the niche site,
    C. The history of how Google has treated HP's medical niche sites and articles in the past,
    D. The editor/curator  lottery, both as to initial acceptance and the eternal Damocles Sword thereafter;
    I just don't know.

[Edit. Sorry that I went semi off topic, please see my next post.]

What is … "It is..."  in your titles?  Be direct.  Name that which you're writing about

    Eliminate  "It"

This is the title I am referring to:

Myositis Awareness: The Last Day in February is Rare Disease Day

It was originally titled The Last Day in February is Rare Disease Day

I think you could come up with a better title though I'm at a loss as to what it might be exactly.  I agree you don't need "The Last Day in February"

Learn About Myositis: A Rare Autoimmune Disease
Myositis: Learn About a Rare Autoimmune Disease
What Should I Know About Myositis? (That that might be a bit clickbaity)

Sorry, none of those are great.  I also did a keyword search in the hopes something might come up but nothing is standing out.

When they moved our squidoo articles Hubpages put them into new accounts rather than with our profiles already here so I have another hubpages profile where I already have an article titled:

Living With Myositis - JO1 Antibodies - Antisynthetase Syndrome

    https://hubpages.com/health/tips-for-li … e-syndrome

Natalie your suggestion for - "Myositis: A Rare Autoimmune Disease" could work as I want to get out information more on the difficulty of having a rare disease than too much information  on the illness itself. "Rare Disease" are the key words (information) I would like to focus on.

So I settled on this title:

Rare Disease Day: Creating Awareness for Myositis

Now my question is, what happens next? Do I have to resubmit or will they cruise back around to insure it is ready to move?

Anyone know the protocol for this situation?
