Hi,
I just recently started with Hub pages and I'm fully aware about that the 10 article limit before setting up all the ad sense/google/amazon stuff. My question is can I put Amazon links into articles that I've already written once I've passed the 10 article limit?
For example I've written about the various adaptations of the book Dune and where I recommend Jadowoskys Dune, could I go back later and add a link to amazon for the dvd? or do I have to put these links in when I originally write the article.
Many thanks in advance
Neil
You can add them later, but be aware that the article has to be reviewed again and they might get snipped.
Okay thanks for the quick reply, so it seems to be on a case to case basis? for example if I wrote an in-depth piece about a certain film then put an amazon link at the bottom, it may or may not get through?
That should work, but I'd make it crystal clear that I personally owned the DVD, or whatever. It makes sense to me, but I'm not an HP editor, so who knows?
You can of course add text, pictures, links etc and then check the "Don't display this capsule" boxes temporarily for each capsule.

A while ago I submitted an article containing an amazon link to a niche site. The article followed Hubpages rules on Amazon links- review based on personal experience AND relevance to the article. The editors who looked at it asked me to remove one of the links, but otherwise said it was an indepth...

I am yet to successfully publish any articles with amazon products. I am trying to be clear on the requirements for these articles. I thought articles should be limited to 1-2 products, however I have seen list based articles with multiple products (ideas for gifts) on niche site, Holidappy. Would...

Every time I put an Amazon capsule on my articles it gets snipped. I write how it benefits people and how it relates to the article.

I am almost ready to publish a new article, and I want to add two Amazon Capsules. I know how to do it the old way. But I saw on lobobrandon and a few other's hubs a different way. There is just an orange "A" and what looks like a hyperlink, and when clicked, it takes the reader right to...

I understand the editing process, quality control and for articles not to appear "spammy" My article was about slat chlorine generators and a sentence in there about testing salinity levels in the water. "This can be done by using a salt test meter or salt test strips" I...

Hopefully people know what I'm talking about. Hubs that wouldn't look out of place in a magazine. A mix of entertaining, educational, informational and not straying from the point.Have you written many?
