If I start a new separate account with a new name, can I still direct my payments to the same email account for PayPal ?  I'm thinking I have to have a new email. Just checking. ALSO do I need a new adsense account?

Yes you can !  You will need a new email address for your new HP account and when the new account is up and running and you are linking it to Paypal put in the original email address you used on you old HP account. I have done this myself so I know it works?

Good question. What are you going to write about?

Probably something different than the 80 other subjects I have written about.

If you round it off by 100, that is 20 subjects.

Rochelle, You already have the answer to your question above from the others, but here is something else you should know.

Your new account will have to reach the $50 a month threshold in order to receive payouts. Payments are not combined together even though you are using the same PayPal email address.

Besides that, there is no longer a need to have individual accounts just to separate subject matter. That was useful in the past, but now that we have over 20 niche sites, your articles will be combined with others in the same category anyway, as long as you write stellar quality articles that will get moved.

Hey Glenn... I’ve been trying to get an answer to an earnings question through the forums and email but haven’t gotten any responses, but you might be the guy that would know.

Do you know how I can add a network site to my Adsense account? I added two last year no problem. But something has changed. Now Adsense says “ url can’t be added as domain”

I don’t mean to add another topic to Rochelle’s thread but I would think this info would pertain to anyone possibly writing content for a new network site.

The error indicates that you are adding the Hub URL instead of the domain name. Instead of adding: https://delishably.com/dining-out/best- … ood-chains you need to add https://delishably.com/

Thanks for your reply Brandon. Unfortunately, I am only adding the domain (not url to hub) and get that error. It does not work with or without https://. For example, when I enter toughnickel.com I get the error “can’t add url as domain. It’s really perplexing.

I know. I've never had a problem adding any of my websites or, like I said, a couple hubpages network sites last year.

It's really frustrating since I'm losing out on some earnings. Here's a screenshot of the error I see.

That is indeed weird. You’re doing it right. Try sending a message to Google and include that screenshot. You can do that via the feedback option at the bottom of the menu options. You may or may not get a response, but it’s worth a try.

Thanks. I'm going to do that now. I'll fill you in in case I ever get this resolved. Thanks to you and Brandon for your input.

So, I got a hub on toughnickel and I noticed that it's not added to my list of sites, but have the same issue as you. For the sake of trying, I tried adding oughnickel.com and that works, I just have to place some necessary code.

What I think happened is that someone added toughnickel and all the other niche sites and it went under review and was banned from being added as individual sites OR there is a limited number of people that can own any one site. So say if Glenn has toughnickel and he removes it from his list and I immediately add it, I may be able to do so. Just a hunch though.

Hubpages and the niche sites are technically supposed to be added as 3rd party authorised sites. I have hubpages set up that way and also in the My sites section. To see this go to: Account > Access and Authorisation > Third Party Access.

HP is set up to be a third party revenue sharing site with Google Adsense, I think they need to do it with all their niche sites because third party access is not something we can add but you will have HP automatically in there if you have your adsense pub ID associated and you do have this.

Glenn reading through the comments it seems like ktrapp should be entering her Hubs into the URL Channels in adsense.?

No agvulpes, please don’t confuse people with incorrect information if you don’t know what you are taking about. I see you only have two hubs out of 60 in niche sites, so you probably never noticed you needed to do this yet.

The “URL Channels” is used for reporting, not for controlling malicious use of your AdSense code. We are talking about “Sites” that you permit to use your code.

Google makes it very clear with an example in AdSense showing that one needs to enter only “example.com” as the domain of the site one wants to receive revenue from. You obviously never looked there or you would have seen that too. Besides, Brandon already made this clear too, and he always gives correct information.

Kristin, Brandon already answered your question correctly so no need for me to do so. Just want to add that the https:// is not necessary. Just enter the domain of the niche site as Brandon mentioned.

For those who don’t know where to do this, click on “Sites” in your AdSense Account and then click the blue “Add Site” button.

That’s exactly what I’m doing; I’m only adding the domain, for example, wehavekids.com. I added two last summer 2018 without any issue, but now when I am trying to add more network sites where I have hubs, it says “url can’t be added as site” even though I’m only entering a domain (not full url to one of my hubs).

Thank you so much for your response. I wonder if anyone else has this issue.

I thought once the article moves over to the niche site Adsense picks it up automatically.  I don't have to do anything on my end. Is that right?

I had to add the niche sites to my list of Sites on Adsense. And only then do I see my portion of the earnings which gets added to my Adsense balance.

I added two last year, but now I get an error when I try to add more. I wish Hubpages would weigh in on this, as I only can comment on my experience.
