So. Much. New.
We have yet ANOTHER new segment to add to the roster. “Article of the Week” will revive the old “Hub of the Day” segment. (But obviously, if you couldn’t tell by the title, only one article will be featured each week.) We will be choosing them at random, with the only requirements being:
1. The article must be on a Network Site.
2. The article must have been published on said Network Site within seven days prior to the release of HubPages Weekly.
Featured articles will find their way onto our various channels, so be sure to check them out! Broaden your horizons and learn something new, gosh darn it!
So basically only new articles published the Wednesday before the next newsletter are eligible. Am I reading it right? The line, "within seven days prior to the release of the HubPages Weekly," is making my head spin. Maybe I'm just tired and hungry, just getting home. Sorry, please clarify.
Or does it mean the articles can be pre-existing but not less than seven days old?
The article has to be published (for the first time) during that newsletter cycle. (So between the previous Wednesday and the current Wednesday.)
We're trying to feature new articles so they can get off to a good start.
Does network site mean the niche sites, not HubPages?
The article has been on the network site for seven days prior to the release of the HP Weekly.
The last sentence is a bit confusing because "feature articles" means they are feature and ads run on them. But, this means the article that is featured as the article of the week?
Network sites are niche sites, yes.
The article has to be published during those seven days.
"Featured" as in the one we are featuring that week.
What I meant by "feautring" was to point out a typo in the logo.
