What is the longest advisable length for a hub. I have a 13 page booklet i wrote almost 30 years ago: single space type written. I am wondering how much i need to shrink it to get it onto hubpages. it has never been published
I recall the ideal length being somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200 words.
I think it depends on the topic and the context. For example I analyse poetry and average around 1200 words for short poems, 2500 for medium size poems and for longer well, I have one at over 8000 and several between 3500-5000. I write mainly for students so they demand everything in front of them from the word go.
I'm not sure there is an actual limit to the size of a Hub, but that's not really the right question.
The question is, what is the best length if you want people to read it?
I certainly wouldn't advise putting the whole booklet in one Hub! Most booklets are split up into sections that could be posted as individual Hubs, if you give it some thought.
A reasonable length for a Hub is anything from 800 words to about 3,000 words.

I've been experimenting with different hub lengths and was wondering if anyone has found what they consider to be the best length that a hub should be. I'm experimenting with hubs that are between 1000-1200 words, whereas before I was publishing hubs that were between 600-750 words. Has...

In their teachings on writing stellar hubs, the HubPages staff has sometimes said that an ideal hub is 1,500 words long and has sometimes said that an ideal hub is 1,150 words long. Numerous hubs by hubbers on hubbing have recommended that a hub should be at least circa 400 to 500 words long, at...

Is it better to make one large hub that covers all aspects of your topic or to separate those several aspects on a topic into two or three hubs. I'm wondering how this plays out in terms of each of the following: Reader Interest and attention spanHubScoreEditor's Choice possibilityNumber of...

I have tried the learning centre for this and if it is covered there and I have missed it, I apologise.I know that ideally we should create a number of Hubs around a topic when we think this might be a problem but in this very specific case and in relation to the idea I am kicking around in my head...
