Hello Hub Community
I am experience software developer having 4 years of experience in the industry. I am here to write articles (programing tutorial based) and share my knowledge with others I just featured my first article here and looking for a way forward from the hub community.
First is that is it a good place for software developers to write?
Second is that what I should focus more now after featuring the first article should I keep on writing more or focus on advertisement.
Need sincere advise much gratitude in advance.
Thanks
Moen why you need to focus on advertisement? You only need to write good quality articles, that can be moved to HP niche sites.
The good thing about this site is that you can write here about anything and everything. There are many authors here who are writing great Hubs about software developmnt and coding etc. Go ahead, and good luck!
Everything you need to know about writing here is contained in the Learning Center; follow the link at "Help", top right. It's an extensive document and answers all conceivable questions.
I think that not only 1 way of promotion needs to be focused! There are also Pinterest and Facebook, where you can also test ads and analyze the result! Of course, there is a lot of information here and here about various ways of promotion! This is for everyone to decide!

I'm somewhat confused about the Hubpages Amazon Program. I am showing as active in my Hubpages account for this particular program. I was issued an affiliate code for it. My Hubpages account is hooked up to my PayPal account. I was approved for a Google Adsense account...

I've noticed that advertisement or links are being placed in between the lines of a poem or haiku verse. This is very distracting to the reader and disrespectful to the creative writer. Has anyone else had concerns about this?

Do you think it is better to try and specialise in a particuar area and write hubs related only to that particular topic, or be a 'jack of all trades' and try to write lots of different articals on a variety of things?

When I go onto my articles (even when not signed into my account), no advertisements appear. There is just the word advertisement, but no actual ad underneath. I have Adsense activated and everything, but no ads. Any help?
