I haven't been a big Ebay capsule user in the past, but I have a few now and decided to check my Commission Junction account. I couldn't get into it - probably forgot the password - and when I went to the Ebay site there is an announcement there about a new program.
"New eBay Affiliate Registration
Starting from March 17 through April 1 2008, it will no longer be possible to register through Commission Junction. Please check back on April 1 for more information on how to register on the new eBay Partner Network."
Anyone know anything?
You should have received an email from Ebay about this change. A lot of people did, including me. They basically said they will send another email with instructions later. HP staff is aware of this and promised to take care of ebay capsule modifications
There is a thread on this, try to search forums...

I have just read an email that eBay will be ceasing using Commission Junction to run their affiliate program as of 1st April 2008. eBay are going to be running there affiliate program themselves.I presume the chiefs at Hub HQ have this in hand so that it does not impact us?

Hey all,I posted this query in an older thread of mine with no joy. In retrospect, I probably should have posted the question independently:

After reading a lot of posts lately complaining about Ebay (kicking a lot of affiliates + impossible to get account almost) and Kontera (barely worth the money with less than 100k hits a month), I want to know if HP is considering changing and/or adding to the current affiliates.I don't know a lot...

Ebay is already a Hubpages affiliate but Ebay is also a part of Commision Junction would it be possible to integrate more advertisers from Commision Junction into hubpages, sometimes the other advertisers on Commision Junction would provide a more suitable product than you can find on ebay.....jimmy

Bearing in mind the only two links to the out side rule can you put a Click Bank or Commission Junction product on your hub.T
