Ok, so I have a question.  I know I don't have nearly enough content up to make money on adsense, and I ok with that right now smile but I'm confused
How does page impressions work?  Do you have to have so many in a day to make money, or do they total how many you have had over time??

Page impressions are generally how many times your pages that have your adsense code in it show up. Such as one impression for each visitor.

On occasions you will see you have had no clicks on an ad but will still get one or two cents. This is because the person who ordered the adwords ad is paying cost per thousand impressions and you get a share of that.

You do not have to have so many impressions in a day. Your adsense account will show you your daily impressions count.

Now as for making money with adsense, write more hubs, use good keywords to get traffic and keep doing the same thing. You will make money soon enough. Also, consider starting your own self hosted blog.

The majority of your income will either come through clicks on adsense ds, or purchases through amazon.

It takes time.  You'd be surprised how they add up over time.

Thanks for the help!  I have more hubs written, but I need to do some research on keywords for them. I tend to be the type that has stories in my head that I write down.  Now I need to learn how to add keywords into them.  I can't seem to write the story around them..

You could put up amazon adverts that are linked to books similar to the stories you write.  It wont bring in any extra traffic, but it might make you a sale or two!
