after 11 months and 33 hubs I finally reached the payout line of $100 in August 15th (google adsense)!! Thanks to all the hubbers who helped me in their own way through their own writing. I am just very happy to have made it this far.
Congratulations - bet you find that the next payout comes along a lot faster.
Well done, I received my first payout into my bank today..I think by the my 3rd months payout I should have doubled the threshold
@ Richieb799... i got a question for you... when they sent you your cheque... did it just have ur name written on it (account payee) or your account number as well... cause google only has my full name not my account number or any such thing...since this would be my first cheque...I am worried
It was not an easy journey... for weeks I didn't write a single hub many a month...but I always came back to hubpages everyday even though I wouldn't submit anything new. Now that I have reached my first $100, I intend to double my hubs in the next 2 to 3 months. To that effect I have already written two hubs, one on my favourite topic (drawing) and another which is more on the commercial side on blouse designs.
Thank you all for such warmth.

I finally wrote 200 hubs and I've surpassed 100,000 page views. My 200th hub linked together many of my hubs pertaining to small businesses. It's gratifying to know I finally reached another milestone. Thanks to the many of you Hubbers who have served as inspiration during my time here.

I have just received my first HP payout on PayPal late last month (USD$60-something)! It was a long journey since I was not very active and I wrote on and off (I only have 31/32 hubs at the moment). So at the end of this month, I'll get $111.36 transferred to my bank account It would've probably happened sooner if I had written more Hubs, but I got out of the habit of writing them, even though I frequently pop in on my adsense account to see a couple bucks made every so often. How long did it...
