I got approved for my google ads.
My current hubs already had google ads prior to my approval. Should I replace these ads with my own google ads now or will the existing ads that were put there by google prior to my approval bring me earnings?
If I should replace the current google ads with my own. How do I do this?
You can't replace Google ads, these are automated. You will earn from the current ads. Just relax.
find affiliate settings - place id there
read learning center where this is explained in full
You cant, Google chooses the ads that are posted on your page by analyzing many different factors about your page, mainly key words.
Adding your own google adsense account simply means that you will earn 60% of the impressions from the ads as Hubpages will receive 40% instead of 100% like they did before you added your code.
Good luck earning
Ad choice and placement are automated. Though there is "tweak" capability…
for writers there is a very limited level of reading comprehension going on here.
Clearly, the new user wants to earn from adsense by having his "own google ads" appear
an accurate response has been posted, dont confuse them further with your inability to read.
If you want to be helpful, rather than do the net equivalent of "hearing yourself speak" you could provide more specific links to the my account page - affiliate settings or the exact tutorial in the learning center or help section.
Not sure why this annoys me today, but try harder not to be dumb, there is no value to your hubscore or traffic or whatever else must be making you frequently answer questions you clearly do not comprehend.

Is google adsense only paying for clicks and not impressions? My adsense earnings have almost gone down to nothing. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am just learning all about everything on the internet, and I signed up for a Google AdSense account so that I could get paid for my articles. Well, I don't know what the heck I did, but they deleted my account and have now denied me access to another one? I have tried and tried to get...

I've never generated a cent from these two programs and they've also never really worked properly. Constantly my adsense claims its active then I'm not approved, then it just mucks up everything. I'm not making any money on hubs as it is but this isn't helping anything.

After writing on Hubpages for 7 months I finally got Google Adsense approval after applying for it every time I wrote a Hub. I've only written 10 Hubs but this will be an incentive to write more given the time & finding topics to write about. I've read of Hubbers waiting for ages to get adsense...

How come hubbers cannot display Google Adsense Ads on their Hubpage? I have worked on blogs with Google Adsense Ads and was allowed to choose the size of the ad and the place. Will hubbers ever be given this option in the future?
